In her own words, Sharon is a
Goddess, diva, legendary lady, mountain mamma, and
wonderwoman 'of a certain age' who, between agonizing
bouts of questioning her personal worth, tries to not
take anything 'too seriously', trying to evaluate all
crises in terms of their future anecdotal value.
As an
international lecturer in the field of health care and
women's issues, she shares her work with a gentle
graciousness, enthusiasm and humility.

Sharon is particularly fond of gathering and crafting stories that teach, transform and inspire others. With irreverent humor and an innate sense of the absurd, Sharon's talks and writing helps people see how needlessly complex and stressful our lives can become.
Currently Sharon occupies the lofty positions of senior partner/owner/slave of Goddessgift.com, a
website designed to celebrate and nurture the goddess in
everywoman. Sleeps during the six hours that remain.
("Mammas don't let your daughters grow up to be webmistresses!",
she advises.)
Although she's managed successful careers
as nurse, psychologist, university faculty member
and administrator, author, and speaker, she
still cannot carry a tune, throw/catch a ball, or stand
on one foot for any length of time.

Following her retirement from university life, she devoted herself to the development of the popular
Goddess Quiz, the first scientifically based archetype on the internet. With daughters Liz and Sarah, she formed the Goddess Path partnership and now 'manages' their four web sites.

author's philosophy about the goddesses in
the modern world.)
Wife and friend, mother of 2, stepmom of 3, alpha-mom (2
dogs, 1 cat) and grandmother of 10. Forgetful of
birthdays. Learned to delegate/share responsibility for
household and meals a few years ago. (Slow learner!)
Plays with watercolors and gourd art, never throws
anything away, is never bored, and lives by the motto
'Don't get mad, get even!'
