Aurora
Borealis Prayer Beads The three main colors of beads represents the cycle of the Triple Goddess (and also the cycle of Womanhood). |

|
|
White: The
Maiden. The Maiden is the aspect of the Triple Goddess
in her youngest form. Sometimes the Maiden is conceived
of as a child, but more often as an independent young
woman.
Red: The
Mother. In her simplest form, the Great Mother
represents Deity as Mother of Creation, eternally loving
and nurturing. The Mother created the Universe from
Herself and sustains it with Her Divine love and
providence.
Black: The
Crone. The Crone is commonly conceived of as an elderly
Grandmother, and represents the last stage of life when
the body is at its weakest, but psychic and magickal
power are at their strongest. The Crone represents the
height of feminine power, and the wisdom and experience
which comes with age. |

| The silver bead represents the moon, and there are 13 of each of the other beads to represent the cycle of 13 moons in the year. White--The Maiden moon is the Waxing Moon Cycle. Red--The Mother is the Full Moon, and Black--The Crone is the Waning Moon Cycle. | ||
